Ethanol Industry Group

Leading a grassroots effort on behalf of the ethanol industry to promote reforms of the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  The goal of the campaign was and continues to be to generate media coverage through op-eds and editorials in targeted states and congressional districts across the country.  Generated nearly two dozen placements in newspapers ranging from the Orlando Sentinel and Detroit Free Press to the Denver Post and Dallas Morning News.

Telehealth/Telemedicine Coalition

Engaged by a group of medical companies, insurance providers and multinational corporations to help launch a coalition devoted to securing reimbursements through the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid  Services (CMS) for telemedicine and telehealth care. In addition to creating an online presence for the coalition, secured prominent media coverage in publications including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post. Other work included op-ed writing and placement and outreach to editorial boards.

Telephone Coalition

Engaged by a coalition of telecommunications companies to promote the benefits of a program that provides discounts on monthly telephone service for eligible low-income subscribers. Secured news coverage and editorial coverage in the New York Times, Washington Post  as well as inside-the-Beltway publications Politico and Roll Call.  This effort also included outreach to state and local media, including editorial board visits and op-ed placements, in targeted Congressional states and districts.  The combined public relations and lobbying campaigned has helped to secure an FCC program under continued scrutiny by Congress.
