Case Study: Major Air Charter Service Association

Representation on behalf of an association composed of the finest air charter service providers in the industry, including both U.S. and non-U.S. companies, that included obtaining the approval of the Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for operations involving commercial air transportation worth millions of dollars yearly to members. Successful assistance to this client involved analysis of the problem perceived by TSA, development of a workaround solution to that problem, planning and execution of a non-confrontational approach to TSA management that involved educating them about the client’s services and the proposed workaround vis-à-vis TSA’s security concerns, management of the involvement of appropriate Congressional offices to solidify agency commitments to the client, and follow-up in individual cases as necessary.
