Case Study: Major Federal Workforce Development Client

Five-year strategic consulting advice and support in the area of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education for a federal client that culminated in a comprehensive workforce analysis. Efforts included a complete inventory of existing STEM programs, the coordination and branding of a nationally recognized STEM initiative that reached over 75,000 students in all 50 states, the drafting of Strategic Plans, a detailed inventory of the client’s current STEM workforce, the examination of labor market trends and STEM degree production that could affect the supply of STEM professionals, and the identification of technological trends that could affect the STEM skill base. Advised the client on how to best optimize strategies and programs to recruit, retain and develop a world-class science and engineering workforce.
